Rules of The House

  • Please treat our hall with respect.
  • Please clear up and take your rubbish home with you.
  • Sweep the floors, clean the tables, clean the kitchen work surface and make sure the toilets are clean also.
  • Music either through speakers or instruments must be kept to a sound level that doesn’t affect the local community.
  • Any Parties or events need to be finished and cleared up by 10pm. It is important we show respect to our neighbours – in the case of noise you make when leaving the building
  • Those who attend your party or event need to be aware we operate within a residential area, so respect needs to be shown for our neighbours and the 58th Scout Group
  • The Hall has a smoke alarm so keep this in mind for your planned activities.
  • ¬üPlease report any breakages to the Group Scout Leader or their representative.
  • Any of your own personal or privately hired equipment is your responsibility and the Scout Group will not be held accountable for theft or damage.
  • The hall and grounds have a risk assessment policy but its important you carry out your own for any event/activity you are responsible for.
  • You must ensure Security Gates/Fire Escapes doors are unlocked during the event.
  • Before you leave turn off the heating, lights and any taps.
  • Scouting is a Charity run by volunteers. We allow our hall to be used by the local community as a way of contributing to the work we do with the young people. Please leave the hall as you found it.
