    The rental charge is £15 Per Hour

    A non refundable deposit of £30.00 is payable to confirm this booking at the time of submitting this form. Your booking may be cancelled if payment is not received.

    Approximately one week prior to your booking you will be emailed an invoice for the final balance payment (non-refundable) which will be due no less than 5 days prior to booking date. This payment will include a £50.00 refundable key deposit. It's really important you keep to the times stated on your booking form and the hall is left in a fit and proper state ready for the next group or you will forfeit your key deposit. The hall will be inspected within 24 hours of your stated finish time.

    Once final payment is received we will provide you with the access code for the car park and building. This is for your attention only and not to be shared with members of your party.

    In the event an item(s) are accidentally left at the hall, please contact the booking secretary who will make arrangements for you to re attend.

    Use of the access code outside of your agreed booking time will be viewed as trespass and will be dealt with by the appropriate authorities.

    You will adhere strictly to your booking times as there may be other hirers using the hall

    The Hire is for use of the Main Hall and utilities. The Kitchen. Tables and Chairs as required.

    In the unfortunate event of the 58th Scout Group having to cancel any booking, due to circumstances out of our control, all payments will be returned. We will not accept any liability for costs you may incur against privately hired entertainment, equipment or food and drink.

    The hall and grounds have a risk assessment policy but it’s important you carry out your own for any event or activity you are responsible for.

    Any of your own personal or privately hired equipment is your responsibility and the Scout Group will not be held accountable for theft or damage.

    Groups hiring the hall and running activities will, if required or may wish to, have their own liability insurance as they are not covered by The 58th Bristol Scout Group or The Scout Association.

    Please treat our hall with respect.

    Ensure Security Gates/Fire Escape doors are accessible and unlocked during your event.

    Music either through speakers or instruments must be kept to a sound level that doesn’t affect the local community.

    Decoration – Some are allowed but not so it damages, marks or stains the walls. Please make sure this is all cleaned up after. What is not allowed is any tampering with Scout literature and photographs etc.

    Any Parties or events need to be finished and cleared up by 10pm. It is important we show respect to our neighbours – in the case of noise you make when leaving the building.

    Those who attend your party or event need to be aware we operate within a residential area, so respect needs to be shown for our neighbours and the 58th Scout Group.

    The Hall has a smoke alarm so keep this in mind for your planned activities.

    Please report any breakages to the Group Scout Leader or their representative.

    Please clear up and take your rubbish home with you.

    Sweep the floors, clean the tables, clean the kitchen work surface and make sure the toilets are clean also.

    Before you leave turn off the heating, lights, taps and close internal doors.

    Scouting is a Charity run by volunteers. We allow our hall to be used by the local community as a way of contributing to the work we do with the young people.

    Please leave the hall as you found it.
